“Come down for breakfast Lilliana.” Kristi shouted up the stairs. “I’m trying to find my gymnastics bag, I’ll be down there in 2 minutes.” replied Lilliana.
2 minutes later, Lilliana was waiting for her delicious Strawberry pop-tart to pop out of the toaster for she was very anxious to leave for gymnastics. Then she packed some snacks up in her gymnastics bag, like a granola bar, mini yogurt and spoon, extra leotard and shorts, a roll of gymnastics tape, and extra hair ties.
“Lilliana, I’m ready to go, I’ll pack up my stuff in the car and when I’m ready I’ll come and get you,”said her mom. “I’m ready to go, I already have my stuff packed up in the car I just wanted to watch some TV before we go.” replied Lilliana.
“Hey Aubrey, do you want to be partners?” questioned Lilliana. “Sure” responded Aubrey. Coach Denise explained that the new girl’s name is Addison and she is here to try out for the team. Lilliana got suspicious about Addison’s gymnastics skills.
After practice Lilliana called Aubrey over. “Aubrey, I’ll meet you at your house to practice some more and talk about an idea I have we could maybe consider doing.” said Lilliana. “Lilliana what is your idea?” questioned Aubrey. “My idea was to have a talent show at my house and we could show our neighborhood our gymnastics skills and maybe we will get tips from the neighbors.” exclaimed Lilliana. “ We could use the money to give to charity, hospitals and more.”
“Mom it’s time to go to home,” Lilliana reminded her mom. “You’re right Lilliana, it’s getting late and you need to get home and rest up from your big day making it to level 1 and I’m so proud of you for making gymnastics your passion.” Lilliana felt proud and excited for her new season to start as a level 1 gymnast. It was going to be a great and exciting year for her and her friends!
