Welcome aboard the Biology Bus! You have just walked onto the 12:00 tour around the world of Biology. Get ready to explore the study of living things!
First we will explore the five characteristics of living things! The five things are reproduction, growth and development, response, organization, and adaptation. All of these animals and plants have to have these five things.
Next, we move to a system. Two of the things something needs in order to be a system are, a time and space boundary, and it must be composed of parts. The boundary in the Amazon is how much it rains per day, and the parts it's composed of is the canopy, the emergent, and the forest floor.
Third, we will explore Biochemistry. The three main parts of an atom are protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Now, let's talk about Biomolecules. The four main biomolecules are protein, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and lipid.
