What the United States did in response to Germany
What did we do?
Germany was growing again, under the reign of Hitler. The United States were allowing Hitler to keep breaking the rules made in the treaty of Versailles.
While Germany kept breaking rules, the United States did not follow through with their policy of containment, allowing Germany to keep breaking rules without consequences.
The Allies debated in deciding on how to handle Germany. Since they could not stop Germany in time, and kept appeasing them, Germany became powerful, therefore resulting in WWII.
