  • Nathalee Vidal Period 4
  • I think Andrew Jackson should not be on the $20 dollar bill.
  • How Jackson used this was good, people have their own rights to vote for what they want.
  • Jacksonian Democracy, an act of wanting more democracy in the America's 1830's government. This is where two men are fighting for the spot of president. The two men are Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams.
  • Andrew Jackson used Jacksonian Democracy by representing the common men and wanting more democracy in the government of the 1830's. (America)
  • In my opinion this is not fair. The government's employees are getting their jobs taken away. when they are the ones who worked to get them fairly.
  • Jackson used the Spoils System by replacing the real official government workers with supporters of his won. His haters were very angry about this act.
  • Spoils system, Andrew Jackson's coming of president, was coming of a new era. In his way of wanting to reform the government, he started replacing government officials with many of his own supporters.
  • Indian Removal Policy, after one specific debate congress passed the Indian removal Act of the 1830's. This one of a kind act called the government to agree/talk about treaties that need Native American to move to the west. Andrew Jackson set out right then and there to "push" the law.
  • In my opinion this is bad. Let the Native Americans stay where they are located. This law or act is not fair to them. Jackson wanting to "push" the law is not civil.
  • Jackson used Indian removal policy by having treaties that state that the Native Americans need to move West. Jackson wanted to "push" the law.
  • Jackson used states rights as his way of getting to claim his belief. Jackson's belief is that the federal government had power. That his claim was his part in the greatest debate of American history
  • In my opinion this is bad because he was stating/claiming his views in an act he really wasn't part of.
  • States Rights, the debate of the states rights has been going on since there freedom of Britain. In this debate Daniel Webster and Robert Y. Hayne are going head to head. With both having different beliefs this became one of the greatest debates in American History. Hayne was doctrine of nullification. Jackson sated that federal government had power.
  • War on National Banks/Economic decisions, President Jackson had "war" with the bank. Jackson's "war" with the bank become the main issue/problem in the presidential campaign of 1832. Henry Clay and NRP called Jackson a tyrant, they had claimed he wanted too much power as being the president. In Jackson's second term, he went to destroy the bank before its end in 1836
  • In my opinion this is bad because the president shouldn't be having problems or a so called "war" with the bank.
  • Jackson used War on National Banks/ economic decisions by having "war" with the bank. Jackson's problem with the bank became the main issue of his presidential campaign in 1832. Henry Clay and NPR called Jackson a tyrant because of his doing/actions.
