  • The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde The Story of the Door From "Did you ever remark that door" to "The cheque was genuine(Stevenson 39-42).
  • CLIMAX
  • In The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde The conflict is sort of an internal one between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, upon unleashing the id, Jekyll begins to lose control of himself and Mr. Hyde, now the ego begins to fall into the unconscious regions and eventually Mr. Hyde had total free will.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde "Mr. Hyde, who had once visited her master ... clubbed [Sir Danver Carew] to the earth ... was trampling his victim under foot ... bones were audibly shattered" (Stevenson 60).
  • RESOLUTION
  • The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde " 'Ah, that's not Jekyll's voice-it's Hyde's!' cried Utterson. "Down with the door, Poole!" (Stevenson 88)
