Storyboard Description

by Sylvia Plath

Storyboard Text

  • How I can tell my feelings to people
  • I’m a riddle in nine syllables,
  • This house is huge, like my belly (need fancy words for the poem)
  • An elephant, a ponderous house
  • I feel weak and I can not longer hold myself
  • A melon strolling on two tendrils.
  • O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers!
  • But in the end I feel like I was used by him
  • This loaf’s big with its yeasty rising.
  • Money’s new-minted in this fat purse.
  • I was used only like an animal, and I do not feel comfortable with myself, no anymore
  • I’m a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
  • I’ve eaten a bag of green apples,
  • But now there is only one solution for me, to stay in peace.
  • Boarded the train there’s no getting off.
