  • My poor husband broke his arm.
  • • Groups of Prisoners had to Wear Color Coded Triangles (common criminals=green, Gypsies= black, etc.) • Jews were not the only people victimized, Homosexuals, Jehovah Witnesses, Gypsies and many more were as well. • Even Germans who identified as these people were victimized and prosecuted.

  • •Nazis forced Jews to work as cruel treatment and because there was a shortage in workers due to the war. •On May 21, 1942 the Monowitz plant opened for Jews to work there because they would get labor with little to no wages • working would save your life because they needed you to work so that they would not kill you but the job was temporary.

  • When the survivors got to Europe it was very difficult for them to return to their normal lives, It was also very difficult for them to return there were riots The largest one was in Keilce a city in southeastern poland where they killed 41 and wounded 50 more. Some thought to go to to ther countries in the us which they could not untill the formation of the state Isreal which was also when the united states decided to allow more Jews

  • People who committed crimes were taken into trial. 12 Nazis were sentenced to death. Some admitted to being guilty and depending on the severity some people got short sentences or no penalty. Hitler committed suicide a few days before the war.
  • The Nazi's suffered a lot in the reign of Hitler These are only some difficulties that they faced there are many more not stated but they were just as cruel as these.
