  • If you're not going to move i'll take the well for myself
  • Kill this child it will grow to murder me and marry its mother
  • I'll definitely need payment for this
  • I couldn't possibly kill this child
  • I will accept this child as mine since my queen and I are having issues
  • A man named Cadmus kills the pet of Apollo and in vengeance Apollo curses his entire blood line for generations to come. 
  • Next time stay out of my way!
  • A distant relative of Cadmus has a child, which is prophesied to murder his father and marry his mother. Hearing this they decide to pay someone to dispose of the child.
  • Thank you for getting rid of the Sphinx... lets get married
  • They entrust the child's demise to a stranger which they paid but this man takes pity on the child and gives it to a King who was having issues having a child. He later names this child Oedipus
  • I tried to warn you both.
  • Oedipus runs away from home and miraculously returns to his birth town. On his way in he bumps into his biological father, which he does not know, and kills him due to an altercation on the road. 
  • Oedipus rids the town of one of the Sphinx which prevented anyone from leaving or entering the town. Because of this and the fact that the king went missing the queen, his mother, offers to marry him and he become king as payment. They have 4 kids together.
  • Oedipus and his mother find out what has happened. His mother kills herself and Oedipus gouges his own eyes out. The prophet that warned the both of them is also there.
