  • A novel in verse is a story told in a series of poems. They are told in either funny or sad poems. They are not a poetry book! It is a book told in poetry! Some examples are Inside Out and Back Again and Love that dog.
  • Fantasy is a story that is mythical and most likely a myth. Fantasy includes dragons, fairies, speaking animals and unicorns. It can be high or low fantasy. Some examples are, Cinderella, Snow White, and The Princess and The Frog.
  • Graphic novels are story's told in pictures, text boxes, speech bubbles, thinking bubbles, and onomatopoeia. Some examples of graphic novels include Smile, Drama, and Sisters.
