  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • The story starts in the southern region during the summer. Doodle and his brother are introduced.
  • Climax
  • Doodle was born and was a trouble to the family. He has a big head and a tiny body, deformed legs and shriveled red skin. His brother was very embarssed due to this event.
  • Falling Action
  • As the story continues, brother starts to teach doodle how to walk they also witness a Scarlett Ibis hitting a tree in there yard. Doodle has a strong connection to the bird, because they both had a disability and were told they would die eventually. Sadly the bird passes away.
  • Resolution
  • Soon after, Doodle and brother had just finished paddling and were heading back to the house because a major storm was approaching. It began to down poor and brother ran ahead due to a GIANT lightning strike that hit the tree, doodle was left behind.
  • Doodle calls out to his brother " Don't leave me, Don,t leave me." But, brother doesn't turn back he keeps going running. Soon after he reached the end of the forest he noticed that Doodle was no were to be seen. Brother runs back and finds doodle huddling his knees.
  • Doodle was covered in blood and had blood oozing from his mouth. Brother starts to weep as doodles head falls back, both boys lay there under the struck tree. Brother feeling most guilty knowing that doodle has passed away just as the bird did.
