Nitrogen Starts Forming in the roots and then goes into the soil
The ammonium then turns into nitrite by having oxygen added.
By adding more oxygen to the Nitrite you can turn it into nitrate, this is called nitrification.
The nitrates then goes through assimilation
Assimilation is when the nitrate is up rooted by plants and used for protein synthesis, then being eaten by animals.
Plants and animals go through the food chain and decompose and release ammonium into the soil.
