  • Basic Facts
  • Why is this guy talking to the air!!!
  • I was the one to invent the first calculator, the Pascaline. I was the third and only true child of Etienne and Antoinette Pascal. My mom died when I was a toddler and my dad was a tax collector and a mathematician.
  • Howdy! I'm Blaise Pascal and a French mathematician and a religious philosopher! I'm also the only Christian mathematician in France! I was born in June 19, 1623 and here I am!
  • Childhood and Education
  • In 1631 I moved to Paris. As a kid I always was taught by my dad Etienne. Etienne hated the local schools so he taught me at home. He wanted me to design an unorthodox curriculum and help me express my curiosity. I eventually got started getting into geometry by the age of 12
  • I once again moved to Rouen, France at 17. Life was great and I even created a puzzle for other mathematicians to solve. It was named the Mystic Hexagon.
  • Ummm son who are you talking to?
  • Adolesence
  • At 14, I aided my father to Mersenne. Mersenne belonged to religious order of the Minims, and my dads house was sort of a meeting place for them. At 16, I presented my mathematical to the Minims,

  • THE END!!!!
  • Sadly, I was... NOT married. I was lonely person living by myself after my father died in 1651 and my sister, Jacqueline in 1661. My whole adult life was in pain and I died at the age of 39 in 1662.
  • As you all know, the syringe is a tool used to inject or eject a fluid. The Hydraulic Press is a machine used to crush a substance using a piston, for example, a can. A calculator is usually used to help people with taxes. Other people use it when they are just too lazy to figure out a math problem by themselves...
  • Enough of the grief, I was famous for making a total of about 19 letters! some were about math and others about religious reasons. I also created the calculator, the syringe, and the Hydrolic Press.
