For financial literacy
I was hired today. Dairy Queen finally called back and said that I got the job!
That's awesome! Do you have a budget yet?
A budget? Why would I need one of those?
Well, there are two main reasons that I can think of.
It helps you organize your spending and savings, because when you break it all down into sections, it's easier to understand what costs the most or what you get the most money from doing.
Not only that, but it helps you stay focused on your money goals, so it's easier to spend less and save more, so you can buy things, like a car!
Wow! I never knew having a budget was so useful! I think I'll start my budget tomorrow, so I can start calculating costs immediately!
Great! You better start saving up. Christmas is coming soon, and I expect a present!
I love you, silly.
I love you too.
