AREA refers to the number of unit squares (such as square foot, square inch, etc.) inside a figure. The PERIMETER is the total distance around the edge of the figure.
A CYLINDER is a solid geometric figure with straight parallel sides and a circular or oval cross section.
A PRISM is a solid geometric figure whose two end faces are similar, equal, and parallel. The sides should be parallelograms.
A CONE is an object that tapers from a circular base to a point.
A SPHERE is a round, solid figure with every point on its surface an equal distance from its center.
A CUBE is a symmetrical three-dimensional shape with its sides being six equal squares.
