Atticus gets Mr. Ewell to show he is left handed, and Ms.Ewell was hit in the right eye, so it could've been him.
Atticus proves that Tom is disabled and couldn't have beat Ms. Ewell up. When Atticus asked "Wasn't Bob Ewell the person who beat you up?" (pg.213) she had no reply.
Atticus asked Tom many questions, Like "did she ever speak to you?"(pg.272) We now know that Ms. Ewell is very lonely and it suggest that her father is abusive.
Scout and Dill find out that, Mr. Dolphus Raymond acts drunk so people won't bother him and he talks about how unfair blacks are treated, Atticus asked for a fair jury decision
When Calpurina goes to the court room she is worried because Jem, Scout, and Dill are missing. Come to find out they are sitting in the balcony. Jem is confident because the evidence is in Toms favor but the jury is still deciding.
Tom is convicted guilty.
