• Solving two step equasions
• Today we are going to learn how to solve two step equation .
• y/2+16=32
• Here is an example of a two step equation.
• In order to do that you must use inverse operations and subtracting by 16 and multiplying by 2 on both sides, The properties that you use to complete this step are the equalitative property of division, and the equalitative property of multiplecation.
• In order to find what is Y is you need to get the variable alone on one side of the equation.
• By doing that you should end up with Y on one side and the answer on the other.
• If done correctly the Problem should end up looking like..
• -16 Y/2= Y/2*2/1 y=
• Y/2+16=
• 32
• -16 16 16*2 32
• ... This!
