  • Excessive pride. When Percy wins capture the flag for his team, he is extremely proud. Excessive pride.

  • A reversal of fortune. When Percy goes from being a regular teenage boy to a demigod, son of Poseidon.

  • The moment when the hero makes a critical discovery. When Percy discovers water can heal his wounds. He later uses this th help Annabeth.
