this scene shows Montag burning books, and at this point in the story, he enjoys his job of burning books. montage is constantly engulfed in the smell of kerosine which to him is almost like cologne.
this scene shows Montag setting captain Beatty on fire with a flamethrower. throughout the story captain Beatty was found reciting pieces of literature which was odd because his job was to burn books. it was also an important part of the story because we see thqat it seems like beatty wanted to die
this is one of the last and maybe one of the biggest turning points in the story, the city was hit with a bomb and afterward Montag and his new allies go in to rebuild and help the people left in the citie. montags allies have been waitingfor war to break out so that they could become useful again as some of them are english professors. they also hold peices of litterature that can be made into a boom in the future
