Hey guys! My name is Kirra. I am one of the many aboriginals that live in Canada. Through out history Canada has made many historic deals with us but many of their promises have yet to be delivered. And we have some issues to talk about.
There are over 1 million indigenous peoples in Canada, many of us don't have access to proper education and many of us come from broken homes. Because of this, many of us do not have jobs and the jobs we do have are custodial.
If we had the ability to receive an education like everyone else, it would cost the government much less than getting immigrants from other countries, because we're already here and share Canadian values!
Many of us are placed on reserves, which have been deemed unlivable under our human rights, many of us don't even have access to clean drinking water. Canada needs to use the money being used on immigrants for the people who are already here!
We have to stop all immigrants from entering Canada until we can tap into our hidden potential in the First Nations community. Instead of giving our land to foreigners, use that free land and use it to expand reserves!
Only once we have given everyone here the jobs and education they need, we may allow immigrants to come if we still need them. Only then can Canada's colours truly shine
