Remembering Hurricane Katrina, In August 2005 a category 5 hurricane hit the East side of the United States. It made 800,000 houses destroyed so most people went homeless. Sadly 1,833 people lost their lives to this storm. The damage costs were about $125 billion USD. This is why we should remember this horrible event and pay respects to the people that was in this horrible event.
