the Minotaur was a deadly beast that was a creature for king Minos who was a powerful and strong king that lived in the labyrinth. It liked to eat the flesh of human.
this is Theseus he is the prince of Athens. One day he asked his father why did they send the people each year and why did they never return. His father told him that they did not go as slaves but as food for the Minotaur.
Theseus was liked by someone who told him that even if he killed the Minotaur that he would not be able to escape the labyrinth. She gave him a ball of yarn which he tied to a tree to find his way out.
so each year king Minos ordered Athens to send 7 young men and 7 young women as food for the miotaur
It was the Minotaur. It had him it tried to kill him by picking him up and throwing him around.
Theseus said that he would kill the beast and that his father would not have to send anyone else to king Minos ever again. His father tried to convince him other wise but Theseus had already made up his mind. His father told Theseus that if he succeeded in killing it that he would replace the black flags on the ship with white ones so that he knew that he was returning safely to him.
Theseus than began to enter the tunnel. He could not see so he had to feel his way around. Than he felt a boney horn
Theseus than found unbelievable strength and twisted off the head of the Minotaur. But during his struggle he let go of the string. He than found the string and made his way out of the labyrinth.
