These kids are going to have to go, we have no food.. I may have a idea...
Be quit Gretel, I am trying to listen!
In a quit home in the woods a lumberjack lived with he wife and two kids, poor they were but they made by with what they had.
THIS IS CRAZY. THESE ARE MY KIDS!
If we tell them we are going out to chop fire wood and travel deep into the woods, we can leave them, we have almost no food left, not even bread. We cant survive with all of us.
As the family neared the last loaf of bread the evil step-mom came up with an idea.
Hansel and Gretel tried to listen to the things they were talking about, it became hard for Hansel to hear them over Gretel's loud weeping.
The evil step mother had the ideal to take the kids with them to "chop lumber" deep into the woods and they planed to have build a fire and let the kids rest and explain to them they will come back for them at dusk and take them back home, but in reality they never planed to do so.
As Hansel listened to this evil plan Gretel became even more upset. Hansel assured her that everything would be okay and he will take care of it.
As Hansel and Gretel's step mom and dad fell asleep Hansel sneaked outside to collect rocks to drop on the ground as they traveled into the woods so that him and his sister could find there way home.
