Storyboard Text

  • We're sorry but the show has been cancelled for this evening.
  • Well isn't this nice.
  • Watch out!!!
  • ~CRASH!!~
  • Well I'm as unlucky as a black cat.
  • I'm going to take a shower!
  • My heel broke.
  • That heel broke a sweat.
  • This is verbal irony because the man say the complete opposite of what he actually means.
  • There's no more hot water!? This is the worst day EVER in the history of worst days ever!
  • This is a simile, because the lady compares her bad luck with the black cat using the word as.
  • I'm sorry that I've been a broken mirror today.
  • Awww. Well aren't you a Romeo.
  • Don't worry I still love you whether you have the best or worst luck in the world.
  • This is an example of anthropomorphic personification because, this gave human characteristics to a heel which is not human.
  • The End
  • This is an example of hyperbole because, the lady exaggerated by saying that this was the worst day ever without being taken literally.
  • The metaphor compares the lady to a broken mirror without using "like" or "as". Also, when the lady says that her husband is a Romeo she makes a casual reference to another passage of literature. She made an allusion.
