the island of the cyclops
This storyboard does not have a description.
I wonder what more is on this island.
I wonder what is in this cave.
How dare you kill my friends!
When Odysseus and his crew landed on an island, Odysseus's curiosity got the better of him and he got twelve of his best men and went to explore.
That's what you get for killing my comrades.
Odysseus and company came across a cave where lived a cyclops. Odysseus decided to go inside and talk to him.
We better get out of here!
When Odysseus went inside they quickly found out that the cyclops was a vicious, cruel, monster. The cyclops went and eventually ate half of Odysseus's men.
Odysseus, using his wits, was able to trick the cyclops into being vulnerable, so he and his men would be able to stab the cyclops in his only eye.
Once the soldiers got out of the cyclops cave (thanks to Odysseus's smarts) they ran back to the ship where the others were waiting.
After everyone was back on the ship and were leaving the island, Odysseus made the worst mistake of his life by boasting about beating the cyclops and even went so far as to tell his name and where he is from.
You are so lame I beat you, me, Odysseus of the island of Ithaca!
