principle #1 genetic variation - The crab-eater seals look very similar to the normal seals but the difference is that they are able to move faster and are a harder food choice for the killer whales.
principle #2 overproduction of offspring/ struggle -there is no overproduction but there is a struggle with getting eaten because they need to go into the water when the get hungry.
principle #3 differential survival/ reproduction - the differential survival is how some are able to move around faster to not be eaten and how some are not as fast.
principle #4 gene pool -the gene pool will change by it having more fast seals t/han the slow ones because they will be eaten and the fast ones wont.
