Hittite Project ECEWC 2016
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hello! I am Suppiluliuma, the king of the Hittites of Anatolia! Are you Kumarbis, the father of the gods?
No, I am an Egyptian sphinx! I have brought you here to tell you that I plan on destroying your entire civilization.
You shouldn't destroy the Hittites! We love democracy and trade! If you don't kill us, we'll give you some of our new technology!
What do you have to offer us?
Well, we can teach you about using humane punishments! We can also introduce impartial historical narratives to your literature!
And we'll show you how to use horse-drawn carriages for warfare!
That's pretty cool, I guess.
Most importantly, we'll teach you how to smelt iron! In fact, we're the first society to do it!
Really? That's pretty awesome! Will you teach us to smelt iron, too?
Sure! I'd love to, as long as you promise not to destroy the Hittites.
