Hi! I am to be the future snake! Currently I am a burrowing lizard 150 million years ago. When dinosaurs lived!
I started as a creature with limbs, like most animals. Then in a few million years I started to lose my limbs due to a mutation. Now, after around 150 million years I am limbless!
My main adaptation to life is my form. With no legs and arms I can slither through grass or among rocks without causing disturbance that might frighten my prey. I can enter narrow holes in the ground made by rodents, find those rodents and eat them.
I evolved because I needed to adapt. This is my basic evolution below.
