first you need to use resources available to to you to prepare. Also take the practice test. these steps will help prepare you for the knowledge test portion of getting your L
after you memorize "learn to drive smart" and scored 100% on the practice test you can take your knowledge test from the drivers license office. you need to bring the fees, a parent guardian (or signed consent form) and an ID
After you get your L you have to wait 12 months before you can go to the next level. You need to drive with a qualified supervisor. You always need to know the rules and restrictions and always display the L sign when driving. Practice driving at different times of the day and in different weather to prepare yourself for the road test.
The road test will take approximately 45 minutes long. you will be tested on your driving skills and safety when driving.

You can finally take your novice driver test after you've been a novice driver for 24 months.
