Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Sure thing but, what is the maze for? Is it for prisoners?
  • Daedalus, I would like for you and your son to build me a great palace with a maze that is impossible to get out of. I pay well.
  • Get to work. It does not concern you.
  • Rising Action
  • This is where you guys will be staying till you pass since you know the way out of the maze. 
  • Rising Action
  • A King named Minos orders a man named Daedalus and his son, Icarus, to build a palace and to make a maze that people can never escape. 
  • Climax
  • King Minos locks Daedalus and his son up because they know how to escape the maze and he wants to keep that information a secret. 
  • Falling Action
  • Daedalus gets tired of being locked up like a prisoner so, everyday he gets a feather from the birds perched on his window and he starts to make wings for him and his son to escape in.
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus uses wax to stick on the wings on him and Icarus and then they escape the palace by flying away. 
  • Daedalus warns Icarus to not fly close too the sun or else the wax will come off.
  • This is fun!
  • Don't get too close to the sun or your wax will melt off.
  • Icarus tries to out fly the sun but, he then gets too close and the wax starts to melt off causing him to fall into the Ocean. Leaving Daedalus to escape.
