Hey did you hear that food scientists making junk food dissolve in our mouths faster so that we eat more? It's called vanishing caloric density.
You're kidding! I can't believe that I've been eating those foods my entire life!
It started back when I was just a few years older than you, in the 1980's.
When did they start messing with our food like that?
Since humans are naturally addicted to fat, sugar and salt, they were all put into junk food to make it hard to not eat them.
And of course they want more money!
Salt is cheap and makes our mouths water. Fats give us the savory feeling when we eat the junk foods. Sugar makes us want to keep eating the junk foods. Just the right amounts are added for each.
That's awful, but incredible that they figured that out.
You can eat more fresh foods, eat more protein, or get more exercise. There a lot more ways, but these are just a few.
So what should we do then?
I'm going to decrease my sugar cravings by walking everyday.
