Civil Rights Movement Project #2 - Noha Abdelrahman
The Little Rock Nine were a group of nine African American children who enrolled in Little Rock Central High (an all white school) in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957. It was a result of the famous court case, Brown v. Board of Education in 1954.
Many people tried to prevent the students from entering the school. In fact, there were protests held in order to stop it. The Little Rock Nine and their families received threats and hate mail as well.
