  • The crusades were Christian military expeditions that were proclaimed by the pope. The point of them was to release the holy land. They lasted from 1000 to 1500.
  • WHAT WERE THE CRUSADES!?

  • The Muslims captured Jerusalem, which was named the Holy Land. Pope Urban II launched the Crusades to help free the Holy Land from the Muslims.
  • HOW DID THE CRUSADES START!?
  • And what could the that be sir?
  • I HAVE A FINAL QUESTION!
  • The Crusader soldiers armor consisted of chausses, padded garments, a gambeson, a thick, heavy coat, and haubergeons, sleeves going down to your elbows or wrists. The head was protected by a leather cap and a hood to protect the neck and last, chainmail mittens.
  • WHAT DID THE CRUSADER SOLDIERS WEAR!?
