  • Exposition
  • I want you and Icarus to build me a palace with a labyrinth
  • Rising Action
  • Were done, can we have our money now?
  • I'm sorry, I can't let you leave. You are the only one's who know how to escape the labyrinth.
  • Rising Action
  • We are leaving Crete today, my son. We will use these to fly away from this terrible place.
  • King Minos asked Daedalus and Icarus to build him a palace with a labyrinth. Daedalus and Icarus were unsure of what the labyrinth is for, but they set to work.
  • Rising Action
  • Don't fly to high!
  • Daedalus and Icarus finished the palace and ask King Minos if they can have there money, but King Minos denies them their money and restrict them from leaving Crete.
  • Climax
  • Ahh! The wax is melting!
  • Daedalus tells Icarus about what he has built and how they will escape. He also told him specific directions to not fly to high towards the sun or the wax will melt.
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus and Icarus put on there wings and jumped out of the window. Icarus didn't follow his fathers warning and flew high up to the sun to see if he could fly higher than it.
  • Due to Icarus flying up to beat the sun, the wax on the back of his wings started to melt and the wings fell off. He fell down into the terrible depths of the sea.
  • SON!
  • Daedalus knew that his son had drowned in the dangerous waters, but he had to continue on without him.
  • Why son why?
