Grendel, hungry and angry, traveled to Herot in the dead of night to feed on the men inside.
Once inside, he was challenged by the Prince, Beowulf.
Beowulf instantly gained the upperhand, and had the monster scared for its own life.
Grendel, distraught and terrified, attempted to flee the mead hall as fast as he could. Beowulf followed behind him.
Beowulf pinned Grendel and ripped his arm off before the defeated demon ran back to his swamp to die.
The mead hall was made safe once again by Beowulf, but the peace wouldn't last long...
