Storyboard Text

  • Darry
  • Fountain and Park
  • Johnny
  • Darry challenges Ponyboy a lot in the story. One way he challenged Ponyboy was he always was strict and wanted Ponyboy to have the best decisions. Darry and Ponyboy's relationship changed a little bit because from the beginning of the story they both have been fighting and Ponyboy thinks that Darry doesn't love him, but towards the end of the story they both talk about it and make up. Darry is usually harsh and strict at Ponyboy because he wants the best for Ponyboy.
  • While Ponyboy was in this setting a lot happened. Johnny killed Bob here when Ponyboy was about to be drowned by the Socs. When Ponyboy was here he was scared and confused, he was scared because he just found out Johnny killed Bob and, he was confused because didn't know how it happened since Ponyboy was unconscious. The fountain setting changed Ponyboy a lot because after Bob was killed they decided to run away and that changed a lot of the story majorly.
  • Johnny affected Ponyboy a lot from the beginning of the book. Johnny affected Ponyboy because when Johnny killed Bob he took Ponyboy and ran away so the wouldn't get caught. While taking him Ponyboy developed a lot and they both bonded way more than before. Also when Ponyboy went into the church to save the kids he had no doubt in his mind, but if you compare him to the start of the story he wouldn't even think about going into the church to save the kids.
