  • They can do that through cell division! It can start by going through the first stage, interphase. DNA is getting duplicated, replacing the damaged cells.

  • I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you in the head, but your cells must start repairing themselves!
  • You look confused. What is happening right now is called prophase. Chromosomes are forming, the membrane around the nucleus is starting to disappear, and the spindle fibers from the centrioles are stretching across the cell.

  • Please don't worry about me. The doctor explained me the process. Right now, metaphase is taking action. The chromosomes are lining up in the middle of the cell. Spindle fibers are attaching to the centromere of the chromosomes.

  • And to finish this wonderful adventure, right now cytokinesis its taking place. The cytoplasm splits, and two genetically identical daughter cells are formed. You are all healed.
