Alright! We are going to go back to 585 B.C.E to the battle between the Lydians and the Medes to witness the Solar Eclipse that halted their battle and settled a truce! We will have 7.5 minutes to view the total solar eclipse, if we're lucky.
Meeting begins and Boy #2 explains the plan. The camera lingers on each face for 5 seconds, for dramatic effect.
Jesus Christ Sharon. Did you not go to our 16 other meetings? A solar eclipse is when the Earth, Moon and Sun all line up. The moon blocks out all light from the sun, except for the penumbra, which is the sliver of light we still see. At this time certain planets like Venus will be visible, and the temperature may drop subtly.
Uh, what's a "solar eclipse"?
Cut to characters falling through time vortex screaming "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" while the song from the Wizard of Oz plays. 15 second scene.
Cut to Battle of Lydians and Medes. Soldiers fighting fiercely and battle sounds are heard. The group hide behind a marble column watching their watches to wait for the Eclipse.
The sky darkens and the Greeks stop to watch the Moon travel over the Sun. The temperature drops slightly, and the camera focus's in on the eclipse. Venus can be seen as a bright red circle. The sounds of battle stop and then its daylight again. THE END
