Something in motion like this girl running stays in motion until acted upon by an equal or opposite force.
Newton's Second Law of Motion
When an object has the exact same amount of force put on it like the tv it will stay stationary until one side is more powerful than the other side.
For every action like the fire and force coming out of the bottom of the rocket has an equal and opposite reaction and that is why the rocket is able to make it into space.
