Athena hands me a spear. It was the same one she used to turn Arachne into a spider. She disappeares before I can ask her a million more questions.
The last time I encountered her, I destroyed her life, but I don’t have enough time. The gods at Mount Olympus are awaiting my arrival. Here, take this
I climb out of the bars on my seat and get ready to jump. I leap with my spear, aiming it directly at Arachne. Her multiple eyes expand as she sees me in mid-air but then diminishes into dust as I touch her with the spear. A bright smile overcrowds my face, and I feel fulfilled. I hear people clapping and cheering behind me. Deep down, I knew that Athena allowed me to face my fear in the best way possible. I owed her everything. Now I was able to see life with a fresh view on life.
The drive back home is tranquil. Everyone is pretty shaken up after seeing everything that happened. However, I feel accomplished. I wasn’t afraid of anything anymore and learned that I need to take action if something is blocking happiness in my life.
