Storyboard Text

  • Teacher, thank you for helping me! My mom told me that a first grader like me needs to know all of her letters. Can you help me?
  • I can't see very well, I get sick to my stomach a lot, and need help with directions.
  • Of course JoJo! I have chosen an Ipad app that I think will help you! It is called Wet, Dry, Try. Lets go on a walk and I will tell you all about it!
  • This Ipad app will allow you to practice your letters by tracing the black board.
  • I think you will really like it because it simulates the hand motion that it takes to make each individual letter.
  • Also, it requires you to trace it 3 times to get 1 star point that you can add up for prizes!
  • Wow! That sounds really fun! When am I allowed to use this?
  • I have downloaded it on your own app for you right here. Every night before bed, you should practice at least one word.
  • You can also use this in class after you have finished all of your work!!
  • Its easy!! Once you open your ipad, you find the picture of the "W", click it, click "lowercase or uppercase", and start tracing!
  • Ok!!! But if I use it at home, how will I know how to do it?
  • Accessibility features that will be used: -On/off labels: will make it easier for child to use ipad -Button shapes: makes it easier for buttons to click -reduce motion: reduces the motion sickness -inverted colors: helps with vision
  • Wow! Thank you teacher!
