  • Ionian Revolt- The Ionians went against Persia with the help from Greek city-states.
  • The Battle of Thermopylae
  • These are the 2 sides that fought against each other.
  • The Battle of Salamis
  • - The Greeks won this battle because of their surprise attack against Persia. - The Greeks charged at the Persians on foot as the Persians were packing up their ships.
  • The Battle of Plataea
  • - A Greek traitor showed the Persians a trail where they can attack the Greeks from behind. - King Leonidas kept only 300 Greek soldiers to fight. They didn't surrender and fought to death.
