  • ACT III SCENE I
  • “A plague o’ both your houses”
  • ACT III SCENE II
  • Tybalt is gone and Romeo banished. Romeo that killed him - he is banished.
  • ACT III SCENE III
  • There is no world without Verona walls but purgatory, torture, hell itself.
  • In Act III Scene I of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt and Mercutio engage in a fight on the street. Mercutio is killed when Romeo tries to stop the fight. Romeo kills Tybalt to avenge his friend and finds himself banished from Verona.
  • ACT III SCENE IV
  • Wife, go you to her ere you go to bed. Acquaint her here of my son Paris' love.
  • In Act III Scene II of Romeo and Juliet, the Nurse enters Juliet's room with news of Tybalt's death. Juliet at first believes that Romeo is the one who had died. Although he is banished, the Nurse assures that their wedding will still take place.
  • ACT III SCENE V
  • I will not marry yet, amd when I do I swear it shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, rather than Paris.
  • After Frair Lawrence tells Romeo that his sentence for killing Tybalt is banishment, and Romeo becomes upset. The Nurse tells him that he should feel lucky and gives him a ring from Juliet. Romeo plans to visit Juliet that night and then leave Verona.
  • Paris meets with Capulet and Lady Capulet discussing the marriage of Paris and Juliet. They agree that Wednesday is too soon after Tybalt's death and agree on Thursday.
  • After Romeo and Juliet meet, Lady Capulet tells Juliet that she is going to marry Paris, and Juliet says she won't marry yet, but when she does it will be to Romeo. Capulet threatens to disown Juliet and the Nurse agrees with her parents, betraying Juliet.
