  • The Ghost is beckoning you Hamlet.
  • Scence 4 Lines 75-85
  • Hamlet you are not going with the ghost.
  • I'm going with the Ghost no matter what.
  • Scene 4 Lines 122-134
  • Hamlet has a wild imagination. We must keep an eye on him.
  • Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
  • Alright, Let's follow Hamlet.
  • Hamlet meets with Marcellus and Horatio to go see the Ghost. The hear the horns and gunshots. The King is partying and drinking. Hamlet does not approve of this behavior.
  • Scene 5 Lines 1-20
  • Marcellus
  • I have to know what you have to say
  • Horatio
  • The Ghost beckons Hamlet to come with him. Marcellus and Horatio tell Hamlet not to go with the Ghost.
  • Scene 5 Lines 45-65
  • My uncle killed my father!
  • Hamlet leaves with the Ghost after Horatio and Marcellus have warned him not to. Marcellus and Horatio follow Hamlet.
  • Scene 5 Lines 200-260
  • He is going nuts
  • This night must stay a secret
  • Hamlet asks the ghost to speak to him. The Ghost explains the situation he is in to Hamlet.
  • It is almost daylight. I don't have much time.
  • Speak to me
  • Claudius killed your father.
  • The Ghost reveals to Hamlet that Claudius poisoned Old King Hamlet by pouring poison in his ear when he was sleeping in the garden.
  • I must avenge my father.
  • Hamlet finishes talking the Ghost. He decides he is going to get revenge on Claudius. He tells Horatio and Marcellus that he may start acting crazy but to not be alarmed by his behavior.
  • Okay my lord
