Gregory Miller was feeling like the man. He had just graduated High School and was ready to continue his education in college and to start his life as an adult.
Greg's Mom and Dad had to break the news to Greg that he had been drafted to go fight in Vietnam. They were all sad that he could not start up his life.
Greg was scared. He didn't know what he was placed into. He was not used to all of the conditions over at Vietnam. He truly did not know if he was going to make it.
As time went on, Greg learned to become more patriotic and started to accept the fact that he was in war. He now wants to fight and defeat the Viet Cong and the North.
After the Tet Offensive occurred, Greg didn't know what he was fighting for anymore. He felt as if they were fighting for nothing and many people were just losing their lives for no reason.
Unfortunately, Greg was killed before the troops were able to come back home. His Mom and Dad were devastated when they received the news. He was a true soldier and was honored and had a memorial.
