Phoenician's found an island called Cornwall in Britain. while they were there, they found a metal called copper. Copper was in a high demand since you craft it into many tools, so the Phoenicians mined this metal.
Romans attacked Cornwall to gain control of the copper mines, but failed. Since most of the copper deposits near the surface of the Earth has been mined, miners now have to dig deeper to find copper
In 1337 Cornwall miners produced 650 tons of copper which was way may copper than they use to mined. In 1400 miners produced 800 tons of copper which was more than enough. Each year miners have to dig deeper and deeper.
Many Cornwall miners leave because it is hard to find copper and other resources to mine because of there irresponsible mining methods
The Cornwall mined finally closed because of irresponsible use of mining. If we continue to mine all of the Earth resources irresponsibly, there won't be any resources left for tomorrow
In conclusion, this could've been avoided if they reduced on how much copper they mined, and if there were thoughtful about their mining methods
