  • The Idea of the West
  • I'll give you plot of land in the west to colonize and I will give you the deed in 5 years
  • Ok that sounds good
  • The Move West
  • I cant wait to start growing crops
  • The Hard Parts of Travel
  • Looks like a storm
  • The government needed people to move out west for many reasons. One reason was so that land would be discovered and colonized. Another was that the east was over populated.
  • The Building of Towns
  • I love this town!
  • While on the way to the west the settlers encountered many problems. Such as Indians,Starvation, and the Cold.
  • Making the Rules
  • We need Da Rules
  • Many settlers died from frostbite and starvation. This happened because they couldn't ever get enough supplies.
  • The End of the Trip
  • How nice it is to live in such a wonderful world 
  • The building of these towns are crucial for the settlers. This protected them from rain and snow keeping them warm in bad weather.
  • Rules are very important because the towns are over run with crime and trouble. These rules are crucial today because those rules they made back then are the rules we use now.
  • Many years latter all the settlers hard work went to good. We are living in the world we are now because those few settlers made the choice to come west and set up this new world.
