This is Patrick Henry and George Mason. Both of them signed the Constitution, unsuspecting of what problems lie ahead. But soon, they would come to understand the true horrors of the Constitution's role in the government.
The Constitution gives the President the ability to consolidate and pass on power over time. In essence, he would become a corrupt king, not so much unlike King George III.
Senators are able to be re-elected as well and have a 6-year term. They represent 30,000 people, too large a number to represent the people as a whole. In this situation, Senators are able to consolidate power and social standing like the President, making Congress an... ARISTOCRACY.
To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them. George Mason
Do what Patrick and George did. Let's get rid of the Constitution and amend the Articles of Confederation together!
