Men on the left, women on the right!
In the book Night, Elie Wiesel was brought to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, where he was separated from his mother and sister forever.
There, they were split up, and Elie and his father had to lie about their age in order to stay together. They might have died if they had done one small thing differently.
Throughout the time that Elie and his dad were at the camp, they were given a small bowl of soup and a ration of bread to sustain them each day.
