  • Good morning students, In today's lesson we will be talking about how ideas become laws

  • Today's Lesson: How a Bill becomes a Law

  • Anybody can come up with an idea for a bill, after the bill is brought up to a congress member where it is written.  
  • 2. Idea is brought to representative 
  • Brought Representative:
  • 1. Idea for law is created
  • Created law:
  • Anybody from a child to president 
  • Sent to a committee in the senate 
  • 
  • After words the bill is assigned a committee in the House of Representatives where they decide if its passed or not. If the bill is passed than their is a vote in the House of Represntative 
  • 4. Bill is voted Upon in House of Origin 
  • 3. Bill is Introduced to Committee 
  • Introduced to Committee:
  • Once the bill is passed in the House of Representatives, the bill is introduced to the Senate
  • 5. Bill is sent to other House 
  • Than once again the bill is voted upon the Senate and debated by
  • 6. Bill is Voted Upon in the Other House 
  • 
  • Bill is Voted: If the bill stays, it gets voted on
  • Than decided if the bill stays or goes 
  • Bill in the other House: Bill is introduced to other house 
  • Bill is Voted: Debated and Voted
