This storyboard does not have a description.
Bruno meets Shmuel at the fence and is very disappointed to tell Shmuel that he's going back to Berlin soon. Shmuel is devastated but doesn't completely show his emotions. Because of this he forgets to tell Bruno about his missing father.
Shmuel has many questions for Bruno about why he's going back and as he talks, an old Jewish man walks up to Shmuel and whispers something in his ear. Shmuel has to go to the courtyard but Bruno wants to go with him to have 'one last adventure' with his friend. Shmuel is resistant but Bruno wins the argument.
I have to go
Let me come!
After climbing out of the fence, Bruno and Shmuel quickly walk to the storage room where hundreds of pyjamas are stacked messily. Shmuel wants to find the perfect pair of pyjamas for Bruno as fast as he can. He didn't want the guards to catch Bruno who is wearing his comfortable Berlin-bought attire.
Why are there so many pyjamas? Who are these even for?
As Bruno starts exploring, Shmuel tells him about his missing father, while almost sobbing. Bruno tells Shmuel that they should look for him and Shmuel becomes just a little bit happier.
I couldn't find him anywhere.
As Bruno and Shmuel near the gas chambers, Bruno asks what they are. Shmuel replies that they are shower rooms but for some reason no one that enters comes back. Shmuel says it like it's nothing unusual.
I think it's a shower room...
The next thing they see is a hut. It reeks. The hut has dark smoke spewing out of its chimney. Bruno slowly opens the door and both of them take a look inside! And they are horrified at what they see. They look at the decomposing, burning bodies for only a second, but are wildly terrified. Their innocence has been corrupted.
